We were not heard on July 27--rescheduled for August 3

At the Plan Commission yesterday, Albion was granted additional time to elaborate their sales pitch, and then to answer questions about many details of their proposal. Then, apparently according to standard procedure, public comments in favor of the proposal were taken--there were 5 or 6--and then it was late and opposition comments were moved to the next meeting, which is set for August 3. We were told that opposition comments, including our 25-minute slot and the Park District's, will be first on the agenda. And we were informed that we will also be open to cross-examination by Albion representatives. That should be interesting! About 45 individuals also signed up to speak in opposition--that's about 4 hours worth, so not sure how they'll handle that.
