Named after a fallen hero who grew up on the block, Sean's Place is a public park and playground in Astoria, NYC. The main gates to the park are left open at night. This invites all sorts of activity that creates a minefield of dangerous debris for the children that come to play in the morning. There are a number of other basic safety issues which we would also like addressed. Basically, we'd like for this park to be as safe an environment as most other public playgrounds in NYC are.
