We took part in the “Sectoral Oversight Committee Meeting on Environment, Natural Resources and Sustainable Development” held at the Parliament of Sri Lanka to discuss the “X-Press Pearl Disaster and Granting Compensation”. 

We were able to present our observations and advocacy efforts, highlighting the urgency to take preventative measures by amending our laws.
