Petition Closed. Appeal of ground water licence decision submitted.

Hello All, 

The appeal period for the Fortune Agribusiness ground water licence is ending and we are closing the petition.

We will do our best to ensure the concerns of the 23 397 people that signed this petition are heard.

We are submitting a formal appeal based on the points raised in the petition.

If the appeal fails the next steps are for Fortune Agribusiness to:

- apply for a: 

         - land clearing permit

         - non-pastoral use permit

- submit an environmental impact statement

We understand there will be an opportunity for public comment at each of these stages.
