Petitions and campaigning works. My pester power resulted in West Australia opening Australia’s first Cyberknife centre at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. 
I then set about contacting wealthy people in Australia to help. None were forthcoming but Ms Rinehart responded and we set about planning a world class cancer hospital in Darwin to include Cyberknife, Gamma Knife, Da Vinci and state of the art imaging technology. It was a long time ago. Still waiting. I hope she didn’t do all of this just for political gain!!!
