Thank you guys for all the support already. Ik a lot of you are suggesting other alternatives like reducing the difficulty or having assignments instead, but I feel that aiming to get it cancelled altogether could pressure them into putting something in place that could at least be a 'bare minimum' (that is if they decide not to cancel it). If we demand for something specifically (e.g reduce the difficulty) then that's all they will do. However if we demand for something bigger, then they will set in place more things that are to our benefit rather than doing that one 'big thing'.
Nonetheless I think we have to at least try to get it cancelled first and possibly have uni's run their own application process fitted to the course they are offering (e.g a short course).
Shoot for the moon, and if we don't make it, we will at least land in the stars :)
