Save the Date: Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 6th at 6 p.m. to discuss Hamilton Town Center

Hi All, Please save the date for Tuesday, June 6th and attend the Novato City Council meeting. This is the proposed date for many issues related to Hamilton, including the Hamilton Town Center. In the meantime, please read the link attached that shows that for over a year, the city staff and some members of Council have been eyeing the proceeds from the sale of the old Hospital and Hamilton Cottages property (2.5 million) for funding the Downtown SMART Station. Please email your Council at novatocouncil@novato.org Ask them to keep Hamilton dollars at Hamilton! Let them know that there are many unfinished projects, such as sidewalks on C Street, the Hamilton Theater restoration, Hamilton Community Center improvements, and a potential liability of the deteriorating perimeter walls that could be funded with this money. Keep Hamilton dollars at Hamilton! We've lived with construction for 20 years and were told by the city to be patient because money from the sale of future properties would be used at Hamilton. This is a Council decision. Thanks, -Tracey
