So far, close to 23,000 supporters across the world have signed the petition. From France to Tanzania, and from New York to Hong Kong, here's what they've been telling us about why they signed the petition... "I do not want to see, nor do I want young people to see sexually explicit content." -Sarah S., Brunswick, NE "I'm concerned about my younger brother and sister who are exposed to the provocative content seen on the headlines." -Roro A., Qatar "I hate the headlines too, it is completely unnecessary to have pornographic headlines be the first thing you see when trying to interact with friends." -Emma B., Round Rock, TX "Snapchat has become extremely pornographic and unnecessarily sexual." -Keyne M., Singapore "My generation deserves better, is far more intelligent and gifted than they are given credit for, and should be held to a higher standard. Give us real news." -Bethany T., Elgin, IL "I've actually stopped using Snapchat because of this exact issue." -Elene U., Canada "We should be able to filter what we are able to see on our own mobile devices." -Jaime A., Oklahoma City, OK "I don't want to have to see advertisements for things that are sexually related! If they can't be removed, then I will stop using Snapchat." -Julie S., Milton, GA "I don't want to see sexually explicit things when I'm just scrolling by. It's not necessary." -Caleb C., New Zealand "I deleted Snapchat because of this content. I would consider getting it back if I were able to opt out." -Naomi K., Lyman, SC Our supporters are seriously the best. The numbers go up by the hundreds every day and it's all thanks to people like YOU who are determined to make a difference. Keep sharing, keep raising your hands, and keep speaking out! Let's do this! -The #NoThanksSnapchat Team
