The IB cancelled exams for the 2020 batch due to COVID-19 and instead used a very obscure and non-transparent algorithm that, according to them: considers Internal Assessments, test grades and "historical data" to try and predict what our IB exam results would have been.

Students from all around the world have been robbed of their hard earned acceptances and opportunities, by being knocked down 1-3 grades on every single lesson from where they were predicted (even in school that have a spotless track record when it comes to predicted grades.)

This is an obvious and tasteless ploy that the IB is using to coerce students and schools into paying for remarking or even taking the November exams to make up for financial losses that incurred from cancelling the May2020 exams.

We call upon all universities around the world to refuse to take part in the exploitation and coercion of students all around the world, by refusing to take the ludicrous IB 2020 results into consideration. Show students, teachers, parents and everyone in the academic sphere that you care about students and justice. 

Show the world that you are institutions who don't allow anyone to manipulate them in such an obvious and repulsive manners - institutions worth your names and reputations.

If we let this go now, we are allowing coercion and money-grabs to be the norm in our educational processes.
