The Faculty Senate will have as an agenda item a motion to withdraw the appointment of Karl Eikenberry to run the Buffett Institute. Professor Michal Peled Ginsburg will introduce the motion. Associate Professor Jorge Coronado and I will provide information in support of the motion. Provost Dan Linzer will address questions as well. The Senate meeting begins at 4:15; discussion of the Buffett Director motion will begin between 5 and 5:15. The Evanston campus location is Pancoe Auditorium (behind Tech).
