Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared the petition, and expressed your increasing concerns about the TIF. Your support, concern, engagement, and community involvement matter.

We are aware that the Village Trustees have shown no sign of slowing down the TIF process, or placing the proposed TIF before residents in a referendum.

Therefore, a new petition has been launched, expressing opposition to the proposed TIF: https://c.org/vssxWpXybP

Please, consider signing and sharing this petition, as we would like to present it on August 25th at 7PM at the TIF Public Hearing.

Please help broaden the petition’s reach by sharing the petition with five friends or family members and asking them to consider signing and supporting it. 

Please also plan to attend the upcoming TIF Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 25th at 7:00 PM. The Village’s final vote on the proposed TIF is currently planned for September 22nd.

Residents do NOT have a direct vote on the TIF. 
The final decision rests with the Village Board.

Lastly, we have received several reports of No TIF yard signs being removed from private property. If you experience theft, trespass, or damage to your signs, please, consider reporting it to the Northfield Police Department.
