Since we started this petition, things have changed quite a bit. Northeastern has committed to not mandating use of the SafeZone app for the Fall semester, NUPD will not be involved in enforcing social distancing mandates on campus, and a list of all additional properties being used for student housing has been released. But Northeastern's plan is still far from adequate.

That's why today, 8/20, we're holding a day of action to make sure that our university understands what's at stake here.
