However, despite the support that this petition has received, the Northeastern administration has still refused to pay the dining workers. Therefore, we are now asking all of you to join us in calling or emailing President Aoun's office or tweeting @Northeastern to demand that they pay our dining workers their just due. "I am writing because dining workers at Northeastern University have been laid off with no pay in the midst of this global pandemic. Leaving workers with no financial security in a time like this is morally reprehensible. Other Boston-area schools, such as MIT and Harvard, have agreed to pay their workers for at least 30 days.  Will Northeastern commit to paying all dining workers their full salaries until the end of the semester?
