Northamptonshire county council are proposing to close all the local libraries in the County. As a parent I am so unhappy about this. We have already lost the funding for a lot of the Sure Start Centres now they want to take away the library. Since my baby way 6 weeks old I have taken her to bounce and rhythm. It had allowed me to meet other mum's, for my little one to socialise and helps her development all for free. These sessions are so popular. Where would we go instead? Kingsthorpe library is so busy and is the heart of the community. Please keep kingsthorpe library open along with the other local libraries for the sake of future generation.
