I have started this petition after speaking with a few parents of the school children at delapre primary who agreed that Rothersthorpe road really isn’t a great road to cross with our children when on school run. Our issues being at the top end of Rothersthorpe road (by crystal car motors and also the other road leading down to Rothersthorpe industrial estate) these roads get very busy in school drop off and pick up times making it more and more difficult for us to cross the road safely to get to and from the school. Some days I find myself waiting there for ages for it to be safe to cross. I am currently awaiting to meet with the local counsellor to raise concerns about this in the mean time I would be so greatful for everyone to sign and share this petition  which I can then take along with me at the council meeting, and hopefully In the near future make the route home to those that live In briar hill just as safe as the route home for those that live in far cotton or delapre.
