Get North Wales Police to conduct Searches for Missing Man Tony Haigh - Holyhead

The Issue

The case is now low level risk - no active enquiries until new information is reported.
No satisfactory physical searches conducted in the search or recovery of Tony Haigh

Physical searches to take place of Holyhead and a full review of the investigation and procedures to follow.

I started this petition because…
Anthony Haigh age 49 at time of disappearance (Feb 23rd Feb 2018) from Holyhead. A local man went missing and the family have been informed that the last known cctv images of him were at 21.40pm entering Lower Baptist Street. On initial missing person report he was made medium risk - the response that followed was decided by someone within North Wales Police Force, the family are not happy with the initial response or procedures in the time that has followed. This case has since been down graded to low risk and the current response is that there nobody is actively working on the case unless further information is provided. 14 months later the conclusion given to us verbally is that Tony has most probably self harmed - yet no physical evidence has been presented to substantiate this. This is out of character and no facts that have been presented to the family indicate that should be a conclusion. Therefore we would request that the case is reviewed fully. We also feel that after the length of time that has now elapsed that as much information as legally possible is shared with the family as to what has been done and answers to why certain reports where never investigated in a reasonable time.
