The Issue

Murder: January 28th, 2015.

The Union County Sheriff's Office has charged 18-year-old James Robert Lee, Alexander Samuel Clark, 20, and 22-year-old Cody Wyatt Bray with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, second-degree trespassing and cruelty to animals.

Lee, Clark and Bray trespassed onto a llama and Alpaca farm on South Rocky River Road in Union County, North Carolina on January 28th. They chased 10 year old Mighty down, then rode him before stabbing him to death then mutilating him.

The boys statement said "They just wanted to see what it was like to kill it,"

Their MAX sentence is 10 months in prison for this heinous act!

North Carolina: The penalty for felony cruelty to animals,  can include up to ten months in jail if convicted.

ONLY TEN MONTHS!

Please sign to petition the courts to revisit the penalty for felony cruelty to animals and extend the sentence of felons such as these three boys. Mighty deserved more.

You can also contact the Union County Animal Services Department and file a complaint in honor of Mighty: 704-283-2308
