English will follow

Dear friends, neighbours and members of our community.
In addition to unjustifiably cutting ash trees in the Boisé du Domaine Saint-Paul, Verdun insists on building an asphalt pumptrack on a lot that will soon be annexed to the Boisé. More than 3,300 citizens have signed the petition to oppose the construction of a pumptrack on the land next to the Boisé du Domaine St-Paul.
We are now calling for your financial support, through a GOFUNDME campaign, to ensure the preservation of our natural heritage.

Despite our numerous public interventions and private meetings with elected officials and the explosion of the project's budget to more than $1,500,000, the borough maintains its choice of site.
This construction project will have irreversible consequences by weakening the ecosystem and its rich biodiversity, recognized by several environmental organizations. The pump track will create a heat island, reduce the sponge area for river water, disrupt access to a natural area already threatened by massive logging and affect the quality of life of residents.
Support our efforts, with your precious financial support! In this way, we will be able to continue to defend the preservation of this green space. There are no small donations. Every donation, every dollar will make a real difference and encourage us to continue our journey.
