Although still inadequate, the message is being slowly heard in the free societies. Over 43,000 people have seen this nomination.
But I have been talking to Iranian young men in Iran on twitter. They are respectful but what has blown me away is the controlled narratives and lies they are being exposed to. The pictures of the demonstrations in Berlin, DC, and LA have been replaced with pictures of other unrelated demonstrations on twitter and on their news. The narrative they hear and see is not of women in Iran standing up for their rights but trouble makers that want to walk naked in the streets. The level of misinformation I have heard from them is truly unimaginable and I know that we are all trying dedicating our time and energies.
Having the women of Iran be simply supported in getting nominated for the Nobel peace prize for their fearless stand against gross violation of basic human rights will be undeniable in any part of the world.
