Finally, a NFL sponsor responds to the "anthem issue", as they call it. But here's the reason: In a conference call Wednesday, Papa John's CEO John Schnatter said the NFL has "hurt us" and quote: "We are disappointed the NFL and its leadership did not resolve this." He also thought the Anthem issue was "nipped in the bud" a year ago when it started. As a result, they PULLED much of its NFL advertising until issue gets resolved, although the NFL offered additional ad spots in the future. ----------- Although Papa John became the 1st sponsor to pull advertising due to Colin Kaepernick's protest, it was because they wanted the NFL to "resolve" the issue, NOT because they blackballed Kaepernick...which is what we are asking in our petition. However, their bottom line is affected, and in the world of big corporate business...that's the most important thing. We are, however, VERY DISAPPOINTED in Papa John CEO's reason of pulling their ads. But in all, YOUR BOYCOTT IS WORKING! Let's keep going! #NoKaepernickNoNFL
