Petition update#NoKaepernickNoNFL - Boycott NFL Games If Colin Kaepernick Doesn't Play This SeasonWe rallied in NYC & ATL today, plus we have another statement from the NFL

For those that came out and rallied in NYC & Atlanta for Colin Kaepernick today (along with other cities we haven't recognized), thank you!
Many groups, including the NAACP, have publicly called to meet with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to formally discuss the situation. He hasn't responded, however the NFL vice president of communications Brian McCarthy wrote an email to USA Today as their response (get ready for this):
"We told the group that organized today’s rally (The United We Stand Rally Coalition) that we would not be able to pull together a meeting today. We said we would look to set up a meeting in the next few weeks with groups that have reached out to us. The group declined the opportunity.
"The Commissioner has been visiting training camps and participating with other players in fan forums."
McCarthy also said the commissioner has been "working closely with our players on finding a way to make a difference and do it (in) a positive way and not be divisive and do all the things necessary to make our communities better."
So there you have it. You already know what to do if Kaepernick isn't signed by the start of the season.
By the way, if non-supporters feel you've been "distracting" them because "they just want to enjoy the game and not put all that politics into it"...keep distracting them! Never stop making your voices heard, until the NFL (and their sponsors) realize how serious an issue this is and true change is made.
It worked before with other issues, and it will work again with this one!
