Changing direction from Councils to State Government - The Premier.

Good morning. I have not been promoting this petition for nearly two weeks now. I thought social media would do that for me (it hasn't). I will keep this petition active for the 365 days and will promote it again when I find the wright portal(s) to get message out.

Furthermore, I had an extensive meeting with the Parks and Reserves Manager at my local council. They told me that any decision regarding animal culling is out of their hands 100%, and for them even to lobby State Government on this matter was not possible for them as a council.

I thought by lobbying Council that would make them lobby State Government for selective culling of noisy miners. I was wrong.

So, I have changed the petition letter(s) from appealing to Councils, to, directly appealing to State Government and its Premier.

Also I have made the petition letter(s) more succinct, more professional, both are a work in progress. But the message has not changed.....

State Government TO CULL excessive NOISY MINERS.

Harmful and over abundant noisy miner birds in your park or backyard can ruin the biodiversity by driving other native birds off through attacking them or even killing them.

This is an Eastern Australian problem afflicting QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA and TAS, so please add your voice to this petition or send an email to your State Government asking for selective culls where necessary.

Thanks for your support, best wishes from Cary and the team.
