Building on leased ground means Food4Less/Krogers pays less in taxes than the residents do

In 2 years of planning, no one asked the residents of this neighborhood if they wanted a second guess station. The harmful effects of just the one are bad enough.

It's time to stop adding new gas stations within 500 ft of residences.

The land this project is proposing will be LEASED. That means the properties around the project pay property taxes, which are expensive, while also killing our property value and quality of life in our neighborhood.

There are multiple grocery stores within 1.5 miles, and multiple gas stations.

Let Food4Less figure out another way to earn our business and keep their store open. NOT by building a gas station in 2022 down the street from a school, church and senior co-ops.
