This particular map is hard to read, but from what I can gather: 

This is very close to Coventry shopping center, Lutheran hospital campus, Eagle Marsh, Fox Island Park, IU Health hospital campus, neighborhoods, schools, high pressure gas lines, and more.

The dark gray zone will be used for the asphalt and concrete plant with a railroad train spur.  

The green zone will be used for quarry operations:  digging, blasting, heavy truck traffic.  

There will be a new road connecting all of this to Homestead Road and Ellison Road. 

The red zone is for more commercial and possible IU Health campus expansion.  

The light gray is for potential future quarry operations.  

Needless to say, this is high incompatible in this area.  

If you have not done so yet, please take a quick minute to email or call the Allen County Commissioners with your concerns about this proposal.  It can be short and sweet, and does not need to be perfect; but they need to know what area residents are thinking.
