The government has announced that they will delay deciding on "Rent Convergence" for the 3.5 million social rent payers until January 2026.

We know the providers will continue to push for the rent hikes but we still have time to oppose market values being used to set our council and Housing Association rents.

This offers us an opportunity to build and inform more people about the statement.
