Already Farrington, Bibra Drive and Hope road are looking to need upgrading. So instead of a highway designed to minimise the impact on the environment and us only 5 Km long will be replaced with some 15 Km of 4 lanes directly impacting Bibra and North Lake. Shame, shame shame! Then add the other local roads that would be saved and it is diabolical. How can they be so stupid? Russell Rd will need 4 lanes without Roe 8 and that that runs right through the centre of a Beeliar Regional parkland with Thompsons Lake on its door step. Thompson’s Lake pales Bibra Lake into insignificance as it is on the INTERNATIONAL significant register for a wild life sanctuary. No false or misleading photos or commentary needed! Not even mentioning the benefits Melville, Armadale and Canning will receive, but who cares that’s not Cockburn’s problem! Selfish and short sighted.
