a) What is the Blue Whale Challenge Game and why would parents be worried about this game?

1. The Blue Whale Challenge is an online game. The game is called because sometimes the whales are seen and die intentionally.

2. In this game, an online administrator assigns tasks to his or her participants. Participants receive a period of 50 days to complete each task. Players must take pictures of them performing the challenge and download them as evidence for the curator's approval. The ultimate challenge is to commit suicide. Players in this game can not stop playing because they are blackmailing and cyber-responders to complete the game.

This deadly game has spread all over the world and in India, the reports of children (Repor1, Report2) have been damaged and, in some cases, even the suicides, which have been linked to the Blue Whale Challenge. More than six children across India in the age group of 12-19 years took their lives supposedly playing this game in two weeks.

b) Where can children access this game?

Blue Whale is not a game, application or downloadable software. Kids can not access them on their smartphones through app stores or on social networking platforms like Facebook. It is shared among secret groups in social networks. The creators look for their players/victims and send them an invitation.

c) What kind of challenges do the players face in this game?

Below are some of the challenges of this game. It may not be a standard list of challenges and it is possible that game curators may create new ones.
