I have a really special way for you to give that won’t cost you money and it will help every child in America. It’s called the CHIRP study, and it will help doctors and researchers understand how environmental toxins impact kids health. For those of you who live near an toxic environmental catastrophe like I do, this study is critically important. And for those of you who thankfully live in healthy environments, we still need your participation for our “control” group.

The incidence rate of pediatric cancer in America (under 10 years of age) has risen 37% since the 1970s. Asthma, severe food allergies, autism, ADHD, and many other major health conditions in children have also risen dramatically. Our children are growing up in a toxic world and the accumulation of these toxins hasn’t been researched enough.

The aim of the CHIRP study is to assess the “total load” of the toxic accumulation on children’s health and to bring awareness to environmental stressors and supports in family’s lives. 

• This is a volunteer based program seeking U.S. parents with children ages 1-15 years with and without chronic health conditions. 
• The survey is HIPPA private and secure. 
• The study takes about two hours to complete but can be done over several days. 
• Once completed, you will be sent a free comprehensive report tailored to your child’s health as well as discount codes for for brands in the natural health community.

The CHIRP study can help my community to understand the impact on our children who are living near one of America’s most polluted sites, the Santa Susana Field Lab. It can also help bring awareness across the nation to understand children’s environmental health and serve as a catalyst for policy change.
