First, thank you to everyone who signed the petition thus far. Since the petition was started three weeks ago we have had more than 13,000 people sign, and it has been covered on TV/radio/newspaper, and has helped put a huge spotlight on this issue. Our elected officials have felt the pressure, and we are now starting to see them act! Specifically, for the Anaheim city residents though, I’d like to ask you to attend the city council meeting on September 12th at 5pm, at City Hall. Tomorrow, our council will be voting on Councilwoman Kris Murray’s plan called “Operation Home Safe”. This is solid plan that is compassionate, fair, and results oriented. Additional info can be found here: http://www.electkrismurray.com/single-post/2017/08/30/Homelessness-State-of-City-Emergency If you are not able to attend in person, could you please do the second best thing, which is to send an email to this address, council@anaheim.net , with the subject line of: “I support Home Safe!” Here’s the city council info you will need: September 12th, 5pm. City Hall Council Chambers 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. First floor Anaheim, Calif., 92805 See you there and THANK YOU, Kevin George
