Hey everyone! It’s been quite a while since my last update here - life gets in the way sometimes. We’re making progress however - in big anti-AI news, OpenAI has pulled the plug on Sora, their app that had become notorious for deepfake videos and videos created using people who never gave their permission for it. Additionally, Disney pulled out of a $1billion dollar deal with them that would’ve been terrible news for creatives all over the film and animation industries. Change is happening! Positive change- and though we’re not pushing for change on a worldwide scale, every share, repost and especially signature on this petition helps a little bit more here at the local Townsville art world level.
