Thursday, June 29 at 7pm is the community meeting at David Lipscomb. Location is the Acuff Chapel at Lipscomb Academy across from the Avalon house and log cabin off Granny White.

Attendance strongly encouraged!!!

The meeting is hosted by Russ Pulley and David Lipscomb in conjunction with the Avalon Neighborhood Association (neighborhood surrounding Lipscomb). 

Topics to be discussed are the proposed changed to Lipscomb's Master Plan and related changes to its Institutional Overlay that involves neighboring properties. Current proposed amendments to the IO include:

1) Modify building/garage north of campus on Grandview Drive

2) Add the Granny White commercial strip that Lipscomb owns to the IO 

3) Add properties owned by Lipscomb between Green Hills Drive and Shackleford **DLU intends to remove these properties based on neighborhood feedback.

Please join so you can hear about Lipscomb's future plans for its campus and to voice your input as a neighbor. We need good attendance to show our neighborhood is engaged and wants to have a voice!
