Hola querida comunidad, ¿cómo están?
Desde SINTIENTES queremos celebrar y agradecer cada avance milagroso que sucedió gracias a este Movimiento de amor, compasión y respeto por todos los animales.
- Proclamamos la Declaración de Buenos Aires junto a la Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora, que exhorta a los poderes Legislativo, Ejecutivo y Judicial a que consideren a los animales como seres sintientes y sujeto de derecho.
- Presenciamos y colaboramos en la jornada de Derecho Animal en el Congreso de la Nación, donde entregamos más de 210.000 firmas en nuestra petición a legisladores argentinos, y remarcamos la urgencia de que declaren sintientes y sujeto de derecho a los animales.
- Nos reunimos con decenas de diputados de todos los bloques para pedirles su apoyo a LEY SINTIENTES en el Congreso, y así generar el consenso necesario para aprobar la ley.
- Colaboramos en la redacción del proyecto de “LEY CONAN” junto al diputado Damián Arabia, con el objetivo de mejorar la ley 14.346 de maltrato animal en busca de endurecer las penas y prohibir actos de crueldad animal, lo cual no se hace desde hace más de 70 años.
- Concluimos el rescate histórico de más de mil búfalos que fueron abandonados a morir por un ganadero en Brasil. SINTIENTES formó parte incitando a una recaudación de fondos global para los santuarios brasileños Vale Da Rainha y Rancho Dos Gnomos.
- Fuimos parte del rescate de más de 15 perros víctimas de un acumulador de animales en la localidad de Anisacate, en la provincia de Córdoba. Logramos el tránsito y la adopción de los perros a nuestro cargo, consiguiendo que sus vidas cambien para siempre.
- Detuvimos el desalojamiento de 300 perros en la provincia de Corrientes, del Refugio Corazón Animal.
Este año SINTIENTES cumplió 2 años.
Durante este tiempo, creamos y compartimos diariamente contenidos que inspiran, informan, educan y concientizan por todos los seres sintientes, logrando más de 11 millones de visualizaciones, más de 270.000 seguidores en nuestras redes sociales, y más de 230.000 firmas en nuestra petición.
Entre celebridades, organizaciones, santuarios y refugios, más de 100 de ellos a nivel nacional e internacional nos apoyan en este camino.
En estos 2 años, nuestros voluntarios han sumado más de 11.000 horas de trabajo en servicio por los animales, a quienes agradecemos por su dedicación y compromiso.

WE BID FAREWELL TO A GREAT YEAR!
Hello, dear community.
The SENTIENT team is truly grateful and wants to celebrate each incredible milestone achieved through this movement of love, compassion, and respect for all animals.
- Along with the National University of Lomas de Zamora, we proclaimed the Buenos Aires Declaration, urging the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches to recognize animals as sentient beings subject to law.
- We collaborated and participated in the Animal Law event at the National Congress, where we delivered our petition with more than 230,000 signatures to Argentine lawmakers, highlighting the urgency of recognizing animals as sentient beings and subject to law.
- We met with dozens of Representatives from all political parties to ask for their support for the SENTIENT LAW in the Congress, to build the necessary consensus to pass it.
- We worked together with Deputy Damián Arabia on drafting the "LEY CONAN" proposal, aiming to improve the Law 14,346 on animal abuse by strengthening penalties and banning acts of cruelty towards animals, a measure that has not been updated in over 70 years.
- We helped complete the unique rescue of thousands of buffaloes that had been left to die by a rancher in Brazil. The SENTIENT movement started a global fundraising campaign to help Brazilian sanctuaries Vale Da Rainha and Rancho Dos Gnomos.
- We actively participated in the rescue of over 15 dogs that were victims of an animal hoarder in the city of Anisacate (Córdoba, Argentina). We were responsible for finding foster houses and new families for them, changing their lives forever.
- We prevented 300 dogs, in the province of Corrientes, from being evicted from the Refugio Corazón Animal shelter.
This year, the SENTIENT movement turned 2.
Every day during this time, we have created and shared content that inspires, informs, teaches, and raises awareness about all the sentient beings. Over 11M views, more than 270k followers on our social media, and more than 230k people have signed our petition.
More than 100 local and international celebrities, NGOs, sanctuaries, and shelters are showing their support to keep this way.
These 2 years, our volunteers have worked more than 11,000 hours as part of their service to animals. A big thank you to them for their time and commitment.
