Esta semana nos volvimos a reunir con el diputado del PRO Damián Arabia, autor de la iniciativa “LEY CONAN”, cuyo proyecto de ley propone modificar la actual Ley 14.346 de maltrato animal que en el MES DE MARZO será tratada en el Congreso de la Nación.

Estamos trabajando en conjunto para lograr de forma URGENTE el cambio que necesitamos para construir un mundo mejor y más amable con todos los animales.

Ley Sintientes propone cambiar el estatus jurídico de los animales en el Código Civil y Comercial de la Nación, para que sean considerados “persona física no humana sujeto de derecho” y así sacarlos definitivamente de la categoría de COSAS.

¡Es hora de reconocer legalmente su sintiencia y sus derechos para poder hacer JUSTICIA!

"CONAN LAW" AND "SENTIENT LAW": THIS UNITY MAKES STRENGTH

We've got some exciting news to share!

This week, we had a new meeting with the author of the “CONAN LAW” proposal, Congressman Damián Arabia (PRO). This bill will be discussed in Congress in March and seeks to amend the current legislation on animal abuse (Law 14.346).

Together, we're striving for an URGENT change that will pave the way for a kinder, more compassionate world for all animals.

The Sentient Law seeks to redefine the legal status of animals in the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code, so that they are considered “non-human natural persons subject to Law”, removing them from the category of objects.

It's time we acknowledged their emotions and rights to guarantee JUSTICE will prevail!
