Last posting. Just wanted to quote the following from an August 2, 2001 article which did not turn out to be the case: "This is a different issue," Sacco said. "The high school plan would have been permanent. This is very temporary. As soon as the extension to Lincoln School is built, we will move the students there. It's not going to take anything away from the park and it's not going to interfere with any activities in the park. I haven't heard a single complaint from anyone about this plan.
