The Latest: As of July 2, 2015, North Bergen&Hudson County are expected to file their formal application for a Braddock Park Diversion around September 2015. They intend to build a school structure on the site. We cannot allow this plan to proceed - more and more of Braddock Park is unavailable for general public use. The current $6 Million dollar renovation project on the northwest side of the Park is replacing natural grass with artificial grass for playing fields. These fields will be fenced to keep the public out - they will be available for use by paid permit only, closed to the general public, as are other areas in the park. Save what's left of our beautiful, natural park from all this government development. Tell your neighbors what is going on - tell NJ DEP and Mayor Sacco you are against this Diversion. caroline.armstrong@dep.nj.gov http://www.northbergen.org/Contact/
