Dear Supporters and Fellow Residents,
Thank you for your continued dedication to our shared goal of reducing disruptive flight school noise and pollution over Palm Coast neighborhoods.
We have been canvassing the Z Section and have discovered many of you have taken the important step of calling the airport directly to report complaints. While we appreciate every effort, please be aware that phone complaints often are **not formally logged** or tracked in a way that reflects the true volume of concerns. Airport representatives, Mr. Sieger and Gina, merely give “lip service” and say FAA controls this situation, yet we have contacted the FAA and they have stated the Airport Sponsor (Flagler County) controls the airport. Local representatives have also stated publicly that there are “only a handful of complaints” but this does not align with the experiences we are hearing from residents across multiple sections.
The most effective way to ensure your complaint is **counted, documented, and logged** is to use the dedicated complaint submission link available on our website: https://peaceforpalm.com/ (look for the prominent **FILE A COMPLAINT**).
We’ve noticed a recent quiet period in the Z Section, which is encouraging—but this appears to be the result of flight schools shifting their training patterns and taking off over the U Section instead. On days with favorable wind and weather conditions, those areas get hit especially hard. This pattern-shifting highlights why consistent, logged complaints from all affected neighborhoods remain critical.
When one section has “good days” with lighter activity in one area, the noise affects other sections. Every documented submission from ALL sections strengthens our case with data that cannot be easily dismissed.
We have also noticed that some of you are unaware of the **STRATEGIC GROWTH** they plan after the 15,000 square foot $11.2M Terminal is complete. We encourage you to read the Airport Master Plan https://flaglerexecairport.com/master-plan/ Or available at Flaglerexecairport.com. Although it can be time consuming and confusing, as they are not always up front with their intentions (all by design), please read it. While we are doing our best behind the scenes, gathering data, documents, asking questions, filing complaints, and sending FOIAs, we encourage you to submit any questions to the **FILE A COMPLAINT** link on our website, as all entities see them.
We also have a large group for the Class Action Lawsuit. If you'd like more information, please email peaceforpalm@gmail.com
Thank you again for standing up for a quieter, healthier Palm Coast. Together, our persistence is making a difference.
Onward!
With gratitude,
Anna Jones
