Tell Clark County District Attorney- NO Deals for convicted violent felon Shane Valentine
The Issue
SHANE VALENTINE was out on bail at the time of the drive by shooting of Nehemiah Kauffman's mothers house on October 8, 2016. Shane texted continual death threats to Nehemiah over the next few weeks, stating he was going to kill Nehemiah "Neo" and Sydney Land. On October 27, 2016, Sydney and Neo were found dead. Shane Valentine was arrested in Burbank, CA where he fled immediately after the murder.
Shane Valentine is currently serving a prison sentence on previous felony charges.
Shane was schedule to appear at his grand jury trial on October 4, 2017, for the felony charge of drive by shooting. His Grand jury trial was vacated. We learned this week that Clark County DA, Marc DiGiacomo and the Clark County District Attorneys office are negotiating a deal with Shane. HE ENTERS HIS PLEA NEXT WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 11 AT 8:30 AM
Shane Valentine is a lifelong, violent and dangerous criminal with no regard for society. He does not deserve any leniency for the countless crimes he has committed. There should be no negotiating or any deals made with Shane Valentine.
Here is a partial overview of Shane Valentines extensive criminal record:
- Shane is a known pimp with charges dating back to 2013
He was certified up as a juvenile
Assault
Convicted felon
Multiple violent home invasions - Burglary
- Gang affiliations
- Person of interest in double homicide of Sydney Land & Nehemiah Kauffman
Drive by shootings
Arrests and jumped bail - Gun possession
- Drugs
Countless other criminal charges.
He is scheduled to appear in a new criminal trial for different felony charges on November 14, 2017.
As concerned citizens we stand unified that our voice be heard. The Clark County District Attorneys office is the voice of the residents. Please stop the revolving door for these criminals. The senseless violence and criminal activity in our great city must end. We ask that you send a clear message to these criminals that we do not and will not negotiate with felons and criminals. We want our city back and our community and families safe.
