URGENT WEEKEND ACTION: Tell Governor Tina Kotek "No harmful lithium and uranium mining in Oregon"

Please sign on by Sunday, June 28: Organizations are sending a letter to Governor Tina Kotek and state permitting agencies (Department of Oregon Geologic and Mineral Industries and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality) urging  them to deny pending permits for the McDermitt Exploration Project (lithium) the oppose the proposed Aurora Uranium Project  (uranium) in McDermitt Caldera. Lithium and uranium mining projects destroy our public lands and are detrimental to our environment, health, and the ancestral homes of the Fort McDermitt Paiute, Shoshone and Bannock Tribes who are still living in nearby Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada.
