School Board Votes NO on proceeding with Tax Favor for Solar Farm

With your help, the Lampasas citizens went to the school board meeting May 2 with over 340 signatures (on line and door-to-door).  That and a full house of citizens against the solar far helped convince the LISD School Board that destroying our Hill County for some school funding was not what the citizens deserved.  The Board voted 5 to 2 against moving forward with accepting an application from the developer to build a solar farm in Lampasas.  Thank you all for your help!
