I have been contacted by a number of organisations and individuals to learn more about the petition and to show their support to this petition. Currently, NMC is considering this IELTS issue, will be providing an update on this by July. Since this is happening in the backend we have decided to go ahead with the petition with the support of some of the organisations & Press. But some of the information given in the petition were outdated therefore I have been forced to update this for the success of the petition. Hope you will understand this and continue to support this petition. IELTS become a mandatory requirement for Nurses from Europian Union(EU)&Europian Economic Area(EEA) since January 2016. This has reduced 96% of EU/EEA nurses application to NMC. You will be able to read the full update through the below link.
