I thought I’d retry contacting Nintendo of America as the backdoor didn’t work, the email they sent wouldn’t allow replies. So I sent a similar email via the website form as before, the response I received was word for word the same I think... My email reads “I’m writing again in regard to Miiverse’s closure as you have still yet to explain a satisfactory answer as to why it is being closed down. I would still like to submit the petition (found at www.change.org/p/Nintendo-Save-Miiverse) But there’s no place where that will be received or way in which to attach the file containing the signatures. Don’t your loyal customers deserve better?” Nintendo’s response was... “Thanks for contacting us regarding the upcoming discontinuation of Miiverse. We understand that our fans are passionate about the games and services they enjoy and are eager to share that information with us. With that in mind, I need to let you know that Nintendo typically does not respond to or take into consideration game petitions or write-in campaigns when planning future releases. While you may not know this, there are a variety of reasons that influence what games and products may be localized for our region or what services are continued.“ Sadly it seems that Nintendo are not interested personally in their customers but happy to regurgitate the same standardised responses... I will of course be trying some more to get a decent response and to request an audience for our petition
