[OPTIONAL] If fans can create their OWN Mario content, Nintendo should take theirs!

The Issue

Foreword Disclaimer: This is an 'optional' petition; it doesn't have to happen, and you don't have to sign it, but it would be nice to and for you to do it.

In the very beginnings of Mario, we've got a lot of innovation in our Mario titles, including starting off with Princess Peach only being kidnapped in World 8 in Super Mario Bros. 3 instead of at the beginning, introducing a pretty good deal of mechanics in Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, getting emphasis on the series' evolution in plot and personality in Super Mario Sunshine, and even having emphasis on other characters getting main/supporting roles in Super Princess Peach! But now we've seen New Super Mario Bros. - and now we've seen very little done in the way of what actually innovates, leading to some players being driven away from the experience entirely and making THAT more and more monotonous (mechanics and plot) over time.

To put it simply, they're like a troop of actors. Mario may be saving Peach from Bowser in one game, or Mario rescuing his castle from Wario in another, or playing sports and racing go-karts or Mario Party-ing together in yet another.

From that context, I've always imagined Mario as a kind of sitcom where literally everyone (including Peach) at least had a substantial role in a game, having (actually) new and interesting mechanics, not just essentially rehashed ones or those that do little with themselves, and having very interesting and quirky story and plot that would open up a world of possibilities for the player to imagine what the story would be like, etc.

So why not Nintendo take inspiration from the fans and use their ideas to incorporate into their games, make heavier use of new mechanics such as the Capture system, and actually create new and exciting content for us fans as a whole, rather than just slightly altered versions of New Super Mario Bros. and heavily underutilized mechanics that are new?!

I started this petition because...
As a toddler-kid, ever since starting Mario, I've always wanted to see characters like Peach, Daisy, Wario, and Waluigi get substantial roles in Mario games themselves, and after playing Mario Party 3, I realized that dream, and up to this day I've always imagined Mario as a sort of sitcom where literally everyone in the entire series had at least a substantial role in the franchise at some point. Early on, it was good; I actually had high hopes for it greatly expanding upon itself such as furnaces you could blow up with Fireballs through gas leaks, Hammers in Super Mario games that would only work if the actual hammer itself touched an enemy or block and otherwise Mario or another would be vulnerable from behind, and much, much more open-world exploration (especially in 2d). I even imagined retro 8-bit games to suit players' 8-bit retro tastes as one example! But now I've seen the franchise go downhill from there objectively thanks to the New Super Mario Bros. franchise basically having only 85% of what the original had, and even the content that WAS innovative in later titles were often heavily underutilized and otherwise just not fun or at least not interesting to play around with.

This is why I made this petition in the first place, and I do certainly hope Nintendo can slightly change their ways and them give us the content we really and actually deserve rather than basically and loosely only-a-little-more-than fan pandering. Thank y'all so much.
