Nintendo's amiibo figures for the Wii U and New 3DS have gotten wildly popular. I wasn't sucked into the craze until i had gotten a 2DS and a Wii Fit Trainer amiibo the week of release. But i never expected this level of CRAZY!

In February, Nintendo released 2 of it's first 4 store Exclusive figures in the untied states. Rosalina, only at target, sold out within 2 days, and Will never come back, as confirmed by the picture on this petition. Lucario, Toys R Us' exclusive, went up on January 30th, and sold out quickly as well. I talked with my local TRU employees, because i want a lucario amiibo, and WILL NEVER support scalpers, told me They only got in lucario 2 Times, and never again was he ever seen. On Feb. 20th, Best Buy released their Store Exclusive Meta Knight amiibo, and sold out the same day. Gamestop's Shulk amiibo has been confirmed for a second run in may, thank goodness. After the horrible handling of The 4 store exclusives, what did nintendo of america do? did they stop them? No. They gave us 3 More Store exclusives. and the worst part is, Store exclusivity is only in North America. That's right- NA is the only place in the world with the curse of store exclusives. 

The 4th wave of amiibo pre-orders brought 3 store exclusives. Target, Toys R Us, and Gamestop are back with 3 new exclusives. Jigglypuff pre-orders at target only lasted 7 Minutes. Greninja went up at 3am, and sold out instantly. and worst of all, Gamestop Blatantly LIED about online pre-orders for Ness, and the sheer force of unaware fans hoping to get a Ness amiibo CRASHED the gamestop website, only to find out there would NOT be online pre-orders on that day.

But if our fandom can Crash a website, then our fandom can also get nintendo to do 2 things.

• Make ALL amiibo available to ALL retailers in north america.
• RE-RELEASE Shulk, Lucario, Rosalina, Meta Knight, Ness, Greninja, and Jigglypuff to ALL RETAILERS in north america.

Please listen to us, nintendo. You're loosing out on valuable money because of the poor handling of the retailer exclusives. Once you give the rights to a product to a Single Retailer, they can do anything with it. With Skylanders, Activision's BILLION DOLLAR Franchise, they only make the ALTERNATE COLORINGS exclusives. But nintendo takes the main version of a character (Save Gold Mario) and puts it in the poor hands of a retailer.
