This is sending the message loud and clear to Nintendo! I just want to remind everyone that all they have to do is allow us to access it. The browser already exists! This isn't a long shot or some unreasonable request. The Switch contains within it a fully functional browser. We have several ways to access it. A lot of people use and like it.

Sadly, with the 10.0.0 firmware update, Nintendo has taken even further steps to mitigate how users interact with the browser. Now, using the DNS entrypoint, pages in the browser will time out and close after around 10 minutes. They specifically added the time-out to stop people from using it.

It doesn't have to be like this, it never used to be like this, and we can cause enough of a ruckus to change it! I know sharing petitions is awkward, and a lot of people don't think petitions go anywhere. But, at the end of the day, Nintendo is a company that makes money when their customers are happy. If we can demonstrate that people are unhappy and WANT a browser, this is not a giant ask.

We're not asking for a Mother 3 translation, or for another Metroid game, just the browser that already exists to be easier to access. That's it! And now they added a time-limit restriction to it? Come on!

Some other people have pointed out that Nintendo won't ever allow this to happen from a security perspective. This is not the case, as if it really were a security concern, they wouldn't have the browser available at all. There also have already been hacks made for the older bowser versions, regardless of the restrictions.

As it stands, they know they need the browser for Internet hotspots and social applets. Nintendo adding a time-limit to the browser means they don't want you to use it. This isn't how most devices we buy work! Usually the manufacturer does not get to make such a decision.

Thank you for signing, and please consider sharing! Do a social media post, it'll be great!
