I wanted to take a quick moment out of my day to share some really exciting news with all of you. As of today, our petition has officially reached 16 signatures!

While that number might seem small to some people, to me, it represents a community starting to form. It means there are 16 other gamers out there who look at their brand-new Nintendo Switch 2, look at the lack of a proper media ecosystem, and agree completely: We need the official YouTube app on this console, and we need it already.

📺 Why This Petition Matters So Much
The Nintendo Switch 2 is an incredible piece of hardware. It has the power, the beautiful screen, and the portability to be the ultimate all-in-one device. But a modern console feels incomplete without proper app support.

• The Ultimate Portable Screen: We shouldn't have to switch to our phones or tablets just to watch a quick video, a game walkthrough, or a livestream.
• Seamless Convenience: Having YouTube built directly into the Switch 2 OS means we can jump from playing games to watching content in seconds.
• We Know It's Possible: Google and Nintendo have worked together in the past, and there is no technical reason why the Switch 2 shouldn't have a dedicated, optimized app.

We bought the console, we love the hardware, and now we are just asking for the basic features we deserve. If we can get enough voices together, Nintendo and Google won't be able to ignore us.
