Charles Martinet has been the voice of Super Mario since 1995 and Super Mario 64 was when we were publicly exposed to the new voice of Mario. It is his voice that you hear every time Mario says "Yoo-Hoo!" and "Letsa Go!" and with so many mystery mushroom costumes appearing in Super Mario Maker from Arino Kacho to Hello Kitty & Shawn The Sheep, It would be a nice touch on Nintendo's part for the voice of Mario (Not to mention that he also voices Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario & Luigi and also Paper Mario & Luigi and Toadsworth) to be a playable character in one of the Wii U's most popular games, Super Mario Maker.

To be given a voice and to be permitted to be heard is a very powerful thing. It makes all the difference and it is true in any aspect whether in political debates or voicing a character in a film or a videogame. A voice can always be remembered and revered. How many of us have imitated the voice of Super Mario since we first heard it on our TV screens? Mario gained a voice because of Charles Martinet (and Nintendo of course) so it is time to see the voice of Mario get his own chance to walk and jump through the Mushroom Kingdom. Let's bring Charles Martinet to Super Mario Maker!
