Save the Endangered Borneo Elephant
The issue
The Borneo Pygmy Elephant is a subspecies of the Asian Elephant. It is the cutest, smallest and most gentle-natured elephant and lives in Malaysia and Indonesia in forests. Unfortunately, their population is decreasingly rapidly due to poaching (for ivory tusks), illegal wildlife trade and deforestation due to Palm Oil Plantations, meaning they are now endangered. Their population is now down to 1000-1500, which is an all time low. My groups solution to helping this animal is by raising awareness by creating a YouTube video, Instagram page, website, making alternate packaging for palm oil products and a petition. By signing this petition, you could do your bit to helping this adorable creature, before it's too late. We don't have to accept a future without the Borneo Pygmy Elephant.
