“An important update on Nicola’s Law ❤️”

An important update on Nicola’s Law ❤️
When I started this petition, I hoped people would stand with us and help show that women’s health deserves better.
I could never have imagined that over 26,000 of you would add your names.
I wanted to update you on what has happened since many of you first signed.
Nicola’s Law has now taken another important step. I have submitted a separate petition to the Scottish Parliament – PE2218, calling for mandatory, standardised women’s health training for GPs and NHS healthcare professionals across Scotland.
PE2218 is now officially under consideration by the Scottish Parliament.
Your signatures here on Change.org are separate from the Scottish Parliament petition, but they remain incredibly important. More than 26,000 signatures demonstrate the strength of public support behind Nicola’s Law and our belief that women should be listened to, taken seriously and receive care from healthcare professionals who understand women’s health.
This campaign began in memory of Nicola Thyne, but it is for every woman who has felt dismissed, misunderstood or left struggling for answers.
And we’re not stopping here. ❤️
My next step is to explore taking Nicola’s Law to the UK Parliament, looking at how we can campaign for change to women’s health education and training across the UK.
If we are able to launch an official UK Parliament petition, I will update you here and ask you to stand with us once again by adding your name.
Every signature, every share and every conversation helps us keep women’s health on the agenda.
Thank you to every single one of the 26,000+ people who have stood behind Nicola’s Law.
This is not the end of the petition. It is the next chapter. ❤️
