I would like to petition the BOP in regards to Nickey Joe Duprest who is a non violent inmate housed at a federal camp for Men in Duluth Minnesota, who has served just under half his sentence. Mr. Duprest has several risk factors making him high risk for the Corona virus that can potentially plague prisons and jails with close contact in a matter of a very short time. Mr Duprest has high blood pressure, he is diabetic as well as obese and last but most critical of these is that Mr Deprest suffers from a aortic aneurysm which should have had attention at 5cm according to the Heart foundation however he is measuring at 8cm. He is the only child of his Mother who is ill herself and unable to travel should a emergency occur as he is over 10 hours from home. He and I are childhood friends and now in a relationship over the last 2 years. Over this time I've seen great change in Nickey from our initial letters and contact. We lost touch as teenagers are now very committed to a new life together, God willing. He tends spiritual services on Thursday and has grown in faith both mentally and spiritually. I ask you to please consider him for early release due to his health conditions. He is already listed as pending clemency however with the Corona virus we are very worried about his health and safety. Neither of us, his mother or I are close for emergency purposes with him being so far but our hope is to have him home so we can care for him and get him the medical attention he cannot get there. Please consider this not just for him but for his mother myself and his children of which he still has a minor child from his prior marriage.
