Fairly OddParents is a fairly old show—second longest running Nickelodeon cartoon to SpongeBob SquarePants—having first been aired in 1998. 

Throughout the first 9 seasons, the theme song remained the same, and as such has become a vital part of that feeling of nostalgia one gets from childhood cartoons. 

With that in mind, you can imagine my disbelief when I heard season 10's new theme song. The issue with the new theme is not only nostalgia-based, but rather the fact that it sounds utterly terrible. 

This affects anybody having grown up watching this show, which, given its popularity, is considerable number. Furthermore, this will affect today's children, who'll have to endure this out-of-tune excuse for a theme song each time they try to enjoy the cartoon.
